This glossary defines the words Unstoppable Code uses in the app and in these help articles. Each word means the same thing everywhere, on both sides of the app: Code for software projects, and Work in Unstoppable Code for work without code.
- Account connection: An MCP server connection saved to your Unstoppable Code account, so each signed-in device can use it.
- Agent: The AI that does the work in a chat.
- Agents: Agents you save yourself: a base model plus your instructions and plugins. Pick one from the Agents group in a model picker, or use it in a pipeline.
- AI credits: Credits on your Unstoppable Code account. They run hosted models and can keep a chat going when a Claude or Codex usage limit runs out.
- App Advisor: A built-in assistant that operates the app for you. Ask in plain language, and it changes settings, sets up automations, opens projects, and more.
- Automation: A prompt or pipeline that runs on a schedule or once at a set time. Manage automations on the Automations tab in Workflows.
- Chat: A conversation with an agent. In a Code project, each chat runs in a worktree.
- Code and Work mode: Two ways to show the app. Code shows repositories, branches, and worktrees everywhere, while Work uses plain language and keeps developer controls one step away.
- Hook: An action that runs when a commit or pull request event happens, such as a failed check or a new review. Set hooks up in project settings under Hooks.
- Marketplace: Where you browse and add plugins, MCP servers, skills, pipelines, automations, and collections.
- Pipeline: A saved series of steps, such as agents, scripts, and checks, that runs as one job. Start it yourself, from a plan, from a hook, or on a schedule.
- Plan mode: A chat setting that has the agent draft a plan for your review before it changes code. Turn it on from the composer's + menu in a Code chat.
- Project: The folder or repository your agents work in. A Code project holds one or more git repositories, and a Work project holds files with no git features.
- Remote Control: Follow your agents and answer their questions from a browser or the mobile app while the desktop app runs on your computer.
- Shared with me: The sidebar section that lists worktrees and Work tasks other people shared with you. Open a share read-only, or make your own copy.
- Watcher: Waits for one event, such as a chat finishing its turn or a pipeline run ending, then sends a message to a chat so it can continue. Agents usually create watchers.
- Work: The side of Unstoppable Code for work without code: chats, notes, and connected tools. Parts of the app label it Cowork.
- Workflows: The sidebar area for work that runs on your behalf, with the Automations, Pipelines, and Watchers tabs.
- Worktree: A separate copy of a repository on its own branch, so one task's changes stay apart from another's. Worktrees are for Code projects only.
